Origin: Southwold, Suffolk, England
Style: English Strong Ale
ABV: 6.3%

Design:  Cook Chick
A beefy 6.3% from coastal brewery Adnams. Has an earthy feel to it, malt and caramel comes through with a solid kick of alcohol. Really good, recommended.

Lovely artwork of the 1672 Battle of Solebay rendered in brooding reds, browns and blacks - as befits this ale. It's a little marred by the massive blue logo - a diagonal sail that dominates the left corner. Looks better curled around the bottle than laid out flat here and I expect it carries well on pump clips too.
