Ara (Macaw in French) is a strong Belgian ale, brewed with hops from the famed Poperinge region. It’s a classic brew - blonde, strong and with plenty of depth, packaged behind a deceptively innocent label.
There’s a friendly, geometric playfulness to the bird, thick strokes and bold primary colours - it should really be in a children’s illustrated story, rather than a chewy eight-per-center. Likewise the lettering has a care-free, almost careless approach (Ana Bier anyone?), but compliments the bird perfectly. A few tweaks at the studio and this would sell by the bucketload.
