I'll start with the beer itself. It's not great. Drinking this is the pits. Drinking this is nothing less than an act of desperation; a sign of surrender and a slap in the face of all those who take beer seriously and with a passion. You can almost feel the hangover creep into your brain as you glug down it's chemical nastiness. The 'king of beers' - the Donald Trump of beers more like. Gassy, bloated and full of crap. But you already know this I'm sure. We've all been teenagers.

But...and this is a big 'but'...the label is a bona fide work of art. Even before it's refresh last year it looked great, but now it looks even better. It's confident, mass-market and 110% U S of A. It's for BBQ dads in GAP, fratboys watching the game, slackers getting stoned and red-necks tailgating all at the same time.

In short it looks awesome; from the logotype, supporting typeface, script work, layout and that incredible AB seal holding it all together. So much great details and craftsmanship to enjoy here. A definite favourite.

I just wish it tasted like better.
