Halycon is an offshoot of the Beau’s brewery - a Canadian outfit that looks to be creating some of the most interesting and appealing beers knocking around.

Their Halcyon brewery specialise in sour and wild ales; looking back to older, more traditional brewing methods to make some pretty special booze. The label is lovely nod to this combination of past gems and pioneering innovation - some italic serif type sitting beside a stark three-colour illustration that wouldn’t look out of place on old sci-fi cover. It nicely balanced so as not to appear odd or jarring. Just like the brew itself no doubt. Digging that barrel log marque with it’s hidden H too. All good stuff.

This was  a label provided by the good people of Chicago’s The Hop Review - cheers guys!
