Brewery: Howling Hops
Origin: Hackney, London, England
Style: IPA
ABV: 3.8%
--
Howling Hops have recently rebranded, moving away from the double H monogram to a more figurative howling wolf. It makes sense, avoids any hashtag misnomers (see previous incarnation here) and emphasises their Hackney heritage.
What I’m really excited about though is the label itself, a bold graphic interpretation of the Czech national colours (i.e. Bohemian). It’s a meaty, full-blooded piece of simple vector artwork, that makes a nice change from so many other breweries that tend to go for more illustrative approaches.
