Origin: Edinburgh, Scotland
Style: English Strong Ale
ABV: 7.4%

Aged in rum barrels, and fermented to a respectable 7.4%. You can taste the hints of wood and rum - it's smooth and drinkable. I'm not a huge fan of mixing flavours of spirits with beer (Exhibit A, Exhibit B), but this is smooth and clean enough to enjoy.

Unlike their lager this label follows the Innis & Gunn standard branding. A little less exciting, a little more rigid but it looks smart and professional without being too corporate and mass-market.
