Cruelly described as a fruity alco-pop by a fellow drinker, this is a refreshing low-alcohol beer packed with juicy passion fruit flavour. As sours go, this is pretty laid-back. There's some acidity but nothing overwhelming. Nothing that would put off the typical punter from having a couple more.
The label art is unusual and a nice change from some of the staid browns and navy blues that seem to dominate a lot of Belgian brews (albeit from a Danish brewer). If I had more time I could explore the weird tan mark hat shape on her back (a looming admirer?) and the 'passion' set just above the bum-crack. But keeping a sadsack blog of beer label design is time-consuming enough. In summary this is a great fruity drink to start an early weekend session - recommended.
