Origin: Poperinge, West Flanders, Belgium
Style: Belgian Ale / Beer
ABV: 7.5%
Oh to be Belgian. Great beers everywhere. Hailing from the small town of Poperinge - where even the municipal crest features hops - this is an outstanding, smooth ale.

The label, like many smaller brewers, is without a coherent style or finesse - it's no slickly marketed Bud Light - but what it lacks it makes up for in charm. The random lower-case title, and lots of hops imagery, with a hops vector border framing a pre-Instagram Instagram photo of some hops. A completely off-kilter yet strangely appealing label - refreshing in it's lack of sophistication, especially when things like this are constantly screaming in your face.
