Origin: Chico, California, USA

ABV: 5.6%

A big old beast that's been knocking around for donkeys. Pioneers of the craft beer scene back in the 80s, Sierra Nevada have carved out a niche as one of the US' first serious beer producers.

I first tried this as a kid in some grotty real ale place in Shude Hill. After years of bad lager this blew my socks off. Big hoppy flavour, quite intense and one to savour. A great IPA.
