Origin: Suffolk, England
Style: Ale
ABV: 4.5%
This ale came in a beautiful flask bottle that was; according to the label, a traditional 18th century custom. It's a pity the effort has not been extended to the actual label itself. The ligature jumps out oddly - the 't' hanging lost and isolated, as does the half-hearted sunrise graphic used as a backdrop (really - what's the point?). The little bird stamp is lovely though. More of that please.

I hate to say it but the ale itself wasn't great either - it didn't have that depth of flavour that you usually associate with organic ales (see the Sam Smith’s range). Rather it tasted like a typical macro lager - artificial and funky smelling. Suspect I may have bought a old one. Despite this lovely bottle worth keeping.
